I am going to start at the beginning for me. Rocky is a soon to be 13 year old (July 11th) Labrador Retriever. I met him when he was 3 going to be 4, since that is when I met my husband. As soon as I met Rocky, I fell in love with him. He has the sweetest personality that puts you under his spell. Everyone that comes in contact with him gets put in a trance and are immediately head over heels for him. Unfortunately, on April 29th, Rocky was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his front left shoulder. We were devastated. Our vet referred us to a specialist, Hope EVS in Malvern. After researching a lot before going on Friday… (I know, I know, something you should not really do) we were not really too hopeful, we just wanted to make him comfortable. After speaking with the oncologist, he gave us so much hope, he did inform us that the best course of action for Rocky would be to have his left front limb removed and then to pursue chemotherapy. So this is Rocky’s Journey.
